Anthony C. Hughes
During primary school, high school, and university, Anthony C. Hughes studied piano and musical theory at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland.
After university, Anthony Hughes chose a technical career over music, and in turn obtained a PhD. (Doctor of Philosophy) in mathematics. However, continuing to pursue his interest in music, Anthony Hughes earned a master’s degree in music composition from the New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts.
While working as a computer programmer, Anthony Hughes was pleased to write "Dancing with Kate", the four pieces for oboe and piano that he and his daughter Katie performed together in an annual music festival in their hometown of Belmont, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston.
