 Gabriel Cadas

Born in 2003 in Haute-Savoie (France), Gabriel Cadas started playing music at a very young age thanks to the support of his parents. He quickly fell in love with the bassoon, which he started at the Annemasse Conservatory (CRC). He continued his musical studies in Annecy, where he entered the high school in a special music class and the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional. The Annecy Conservatory allowed him to broaden his musical practice and the conservatory framework decided him to consider a musical career. Thanks to the many courses at the CRR, he was introduced to composition. But it is above all driven by his desire to try, to take the risk of succeeding, that he composes some pieces.
About the piece "Suite pour Pipo": Of light Hungarian inspiration, this piece was composed for an exam at the CRR in Annecy. A spontaneous piece, it contains slight dissonances and certain contrasts. The nomenclature is quite vast and allows for the exploration of little known combinations of timbres. As for the instruments, it is always appreciated to mix bassoon and fagott.
